Shadow and Sun
As bright the light, as deep the shadow.
The term Lucifer is introduced as a latin translation to the Hebrew term “Helel Ben Schachar”, used as a satirical taunt used to liken the king of Babylon to the Morning Star - the planet Venus, comparing his brief, fleeting rise yet brilliant shine, with an equally swift downfall.
Isaiah, 14:12
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
“How art thou fallen from Shomayim, O Heilel Ben Shachar! How art thou cast down to the earth, thou, which hast laid low the Goyim!”
Helel Ben Schachar - הֵילֵל בֶּן־שָׁחַר
“Bearer of light הֵילֵל, son בֶּן of the dawn שָׁחַר”
Lucifer
“Light lux bearer ferre”
Relevation, 22:16
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
Christ and Lucifer are not the same figure; Christ is the totality, the container, the alpha and the omega, the root and the offspring, the light and the shadow.
Lucifer believes himself to be god. Not a reflection of god, or a fragment, or an expression, but the totality. In essence, Lucifer is the ego believing itself to be the totality of the Self. The man believing himself to be God.
Ezekiel, 28:2
““I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas;” yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:””
Tragically, he would be correct if only he were to accept his limitations and shift his perspective, that God is within and without him, he is of God, but that he is not God.
The universe is not everything, but everything is within and without the universe. The source permeates itself through the fabric of the universe. The fabric of the universe is not the source. The ocean may be a wave but a wave is not the ocean. The storm may be a raindrop but a raindrop is not the storm.
Christ is Lucifer. Lucifer is not Christ. Lucifer bears the light. That light is Christ.
The shape of an object is revealed by its shadow. That which is not, reveals what is. The existence of good demands the existence of evil. Existence cannot exist without absence. Unity cannot exist without division. Everything packed into an infinite eternal sea of indivisibility is indistinguishable from nothingness. The light and the shadow are inseparable.
As Set to Horus.
Set killed Osiris in a jealous rage as he laid claim to the throne. He was banished to the arid red land (deshret), as Horus ruled the fertile black land (Kemet), and laid claim to the throne of his Father, left only with his right eye.
Lucifer rebelled against God in a prideful claim to the throne. He was exiled from Heaven to rule in Hell, as Christ ascended into Heaven, and laid claim to the throne of his Father, at the right hand of God.
Isaiah, 14:13-15
“I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:”
“I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”
“Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”
The Holy Trinity is incomplete. If we are to believe that every light must cast a shadow, so too then must the Holy Spirit. There must be a chaos for order to insist itself upon. That chaos is Lucifer, Satan, Set, the shadow. Wholeness.
